...No surprise that the applause of the audience in the Berner Münster Cathedral hardly wanted to come to an end. Completely at the top in the listener’s favour stood however the Australian tenor Stuart Skelton, who was equally as convincing in both the noble pianissimos, as in the heroic fortes. He displayed exemplary articulation and made a deep impression with his shattering representation of Gerontius.
